WM3700HVA
LG WM3700HVA Washer for Allergiene and ThinQ Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Door boot and glass for leaks
- Heating during the Allergiene cycle
- Drain pump filter and hose
- ThinQ connection and control response
- Spin balance and bearing noise
The WM3700HVA is an older LG front load washer with a 4.5 cubic foot drum, 6Motion, ColdWash, ThinQ and an AAFA Certified Allergiene cycle. The WM3700HWA is a variant.
Allergiene cycles need the washer to heat and fill correctly, so when that cycle fails we test the water supply and the heating along with the drain. Wi-Fi control adds a check of how the washer responds at the panel. We also inspect the door boot, the pump filter and the spin for balance.
We confirm the model and serial on the label, then order the right part. You get a written price first, and our repairs come with a 30-day workmanship warranty.

Error codes this model can show
What does AAFA Certified mean here?
The Allergiene cycle carries that certification. For repair, we make sure the washer can fill, heat and drain properly so that cycle can run as designed.
Does a ThinQ washer need a different repair?
The mechanical repair is the same. We also check that the washer responds at its own control panel, which tells us whether a problem is in the machine or in your home network.
Why is there a musty smell in the drum?
Moisture trapped in the door boot and a clogged drain filter are common causes. We clean and inspect both, and check the dispenser for buildup.
