WT7000CW
LG WT7000CW TurboDrum Top Load Washer Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Lid switch
- Fill valves and the Water Plus extra water option
- Drain pump and hose
- Drum motion during wash and spin
- Control response
The WT7000CW is an LG top load washer with a 4.5 cubic foot tub, TurboDrum, 6Motion, SmartDiagnosis and a Water Plus option that adds extra water for bulky items.
Because Water Plus changes the fill, we check the inlet valves and water level sensing when a cycle uses too little or too much water. We also test the lid switch, the drain pump and the drum motion. If there is a thump on spin, we start with the load and the leveling.
The label gives the exact model and serial, and we read both before we order parts. Our price is written and approved first, with a 30-day workmanship warranty.

What does Water Plus do?
It adds extra water for bulky items. When it does not seem to work, we check the fill valves and the water level sensing, because the option relies on both to add water.
What is TurboDrum?
It is a drum design for a gentle but enhanced clean. For service, we watch the drum motion and listen for noise in wash and spin.
Is this model still sold?
We do not track that. We service it whatever its status, and we confirm part availability from the label before quoting you a price in writing.
