Most common issues on this model
- Glass door latch and seal
- AI dry setting and cycle length
- Burner igniter and gas valve coils
- FlowSense duct and lint indicators
The DLG3601V is a current LG front load gas dryer with a 7.4 cu. ft. ultra large capacity, AI-selected dry settings, ThinQ app alerts, a tempered glass door and FlowSense duct clogging and lint filter indicators.
The glass door gets a check of the latch, hinge and seal when the dryer will not start or leaks warm air. For heat, we confirm the gas shutoff and then test the igniter and valve coils. Drying that runs long leads us to the duct, which FlowSense helps flag.
ThinQ Care alerts depend on the network, so we test the signal first. We read the model and serial from the label before ordering a part, and the price is in writing before work starts.

Error codes this model can show
Why will my dryer not start with the door shut?
The latch or door switch may not be registering a closed door, and the dryer will not run without that signal. We inspect the latch, strike and hinge, then test the switch.
Does the DLG3601V have steam?
Steam is not among the features we have for this model, so we treat it as a gas dryer with AI dry settings and look at heat, airflow and the sensor.
What do I do when FlowSense lights up?
Clean the lint filter and check the duct for lint and crushed bends. If the light stays on after that, we measure airflow at the machine and the outside hood and test the sensing path.
