DLGX3901B
LG DLGX3901B TurboSteam Gas Dryer Repair

Most common issues on this model
- TurboSteam water feed
- Sensor Dry cycle ending
- FlowSense duct and lint indicators
- Burner parts
Current in LG’s gas lineup, the DLGX3901B has a 7.4 cu. ft. ultra large capacity, a TurboSteam refresh cycle, ThinQ app functions with ThinQ Care alerts, Sensor Dry and FlowSense indicators. W is the other finish.
Since it uses both gas and water, we check four supplies in turn: gas, 120-volt power, the vent and the steam water line. A refresh cycle with no steam leads us to the hose and inlet valve. Heat problems lead us to the shutoff, the igniter and the valve coils. A flagged duct leads us to cleaning and an airflow reading.
We read the model and serial from the label before ordering a part. The price is in writing before work.

Why does TurboSteam not produce steam?
The most common reason is a water supply problem. We test the hose and its screen, then the inlet valve, and run the cycle to confirm water reaches the drum.
What is Sensor Dry on this model?
It adjusts drying time automatically based on what it senses. If it stops with damp clothes, we clean the contacts, check airflow and test the board.
Do I need to do anything when ThinQ Care shows an alert?
Check the lint filter and duct first, since a clog is the usual reason. If the alert persists after cleaning, we measure airflow at the machine and test the sensing path.
