LG WT7405CV 4-Way Agitator Smart Pairing Washer Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Agitator and coupling
- Lid switch
- TurboWash3D spray and fill
- Drain pump
- Smart Pairing control response
The WT7405CV is an LG top load washer with a 5.3 cubic foot mega capacity tub, a 4-Way Agitator, TurboWash3D, 6Motion and Smart Pairing. Another number for this model is WT7405CW.
This washer joins an agitator with a spray wash, so cleaning complaints send us to both the agitator action and the inlet spray. We test the lid switch, the fill, the drain pump and the spin balance. A connected control gets checked from the washer’s own panel first.
We read the model and serial off the label before ordering. You see a written price first, and our work is backed by a 30-day workmanship warranty.

How does the WT7405CV differ from the WT7400CV?
It has a 4-Way Agitator and a 5.3 cubic foot tub, against 5.5 cubic feet on the WT7400CV. We match parts to the label on your washer, not to the family.
Why does the agitator make noise?
The coupling or drive may be worn, or an item may be caught below the agitator. We test the motion and inspect the coupling before we price a repair.
The load comes out unbalanced. What do you check?
We check the leveling of the cabinet, how the load was distributed and the suspension. Large mega capacity tubs are sensitive to all three, especially with bulky items.
