The WM3460CV is an older LG front-load washer rated at 4.5 cu. ft., with Wi-Fi enabled smart functions, load-sensing spin control and an electronic cycle control with a digital display. It is sold in two finishes.
It usually stands in a laundry room beside a dryer. When the smart functions drop out, we first confirm that the washer runs normally from its own panel, so the network is not blamed for a mechanical problem. Then we check the pump and filter, the load sensing and balance, and the door seal.

How big is the drum?
It is rated at 4.5 cu. ft., which is ultra-large. A drum that size should be level and balanced, so we check both during service.
Why does the washer stop mid-spin?
Load-sensing spin may stop if the load is unbalanced, or the drain may be slow. We check the load, the pump filter and the leveling before testing the sensing.
